Masters in Architecture (M. Arch) is a postgraduate course, minimum eligibility for this course is a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture. It is a two-year program divided into four semesters. The architecture field includes the process of planning, designing, and execution of residential and commercial infrastructure.

It has been divided into several specialized fields such as :

  • Architectural Conservation,
  • Building engineering and management,
  • Housing,
  • Urban Design,
  • Landscape architecture,
  • Architectural design,
  • Sustainable architecture,
  • Transport planning,
  • Town and country planning,
  • Regional planning,
  • Industrial design,
  • Environmental planning,
  • Architecture, and digital design.


This course has been designed in such a way that students completing this course will be able to fulfill all the requirements to start as a professional. This will open a carrier option in the field of architecture design and planning. In this way, one can either join a company as an architect PROFESSIONAL or can start their own work as an architectural designer or planner. Hence it will provide a wider range of scope as an architectural professional.

 Eligibility Criteria for M.Arch

  1. Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) awarded to students from a recognized university is eligible for M.Arch Degree. B.Arch final year applicants can also apply.
  2. The qualifying candidates must achieve a minimum of 50 percent at the entrance examination.
  3. Some institutes require an aptitude test and an interview for admission to the Master of Architecture degree.
